Join your fellow exchange students for a fun filled five days at three of California's most famous theme parks! You will visit places you have seen in the  movies such  as Disneyland, Hollywood, Universal Studios, Knott’s Berry Farm and  California Adventures. Plus you will also get a  chance to visit the  beach and go surfing! All details and  information  are subject to  change without prior notice. It is the  responsibility of  the reader to  confirm all details contained on this  page.

Your Itinerary

The following is a summary agenda for the entire session and may change without prior notice: 
 
Wednesday 
CANADIAN STUDENTS
  • Canadian students depart Coho Ferry in Victoria with chaperone 4 PM. Chaperones are arranging pick up locations.
  • Travel with drivers to Tacoma to be home hosted by members of the Tacoma Rotary Clubs
  • Students need to arrive at the Coho Ferry Terminal in Victoria by 3PM on Wednesday

Campbell River; Courtenay and Qualicum Beach Students will travel with Bruce Izard: 250-204-1261. Bruce will be contacting you regarding pickup schedule.
 
Canadian Travelers meet up with the:
OLYMPIC PENINSULA STUDENTS
  • All travel to Tacoma to be home hosted by members of the Tacoma Rotary Clubs. 
  • These students will be stopping for dinner – students need to be prepared to buy their own dinners

Thursday
KITSAP PENINSULA STUDENTS
  • Kitsap Peninsula Students will begin travel Thursday Morning 
  • Travel to Tacoma to meet group for airport transportation.

ALL STUDENTS INCLUDING TACOMA, KITSAP PENINSULA, OLYMPIA/SOUTH SOUND AND TACOMA HOME HOSTED STUDENTS
  • Meet at Tacoma Pick Up point Tacoma Office Depot Parking Lot at 3320 South 23rd Street. No later than 5:00 AM.

ALL STUDENTS 
  • All students meet at the Tacoma Office Depot Location to travel by bus to SeaTac airport - Bus leaves at 5:15 am sharp!
  • Check in at Alaska Airlines ticketing Kiosk no later than 6:00 am.
  • All students clear security and meet at Alaska Airline departure gate by 6:45 am. No leaving the gate once we meet! 
  • Be ready to board the airplane by 7:15 am
  • Depart Seattle on AS Alaska Airline Flight 506 at 7:45 am . Arrive SNA-Orange Co, CA 10:27 am
  • TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE - PLEASE CHECK BACK RIGHT BEFORE TRAVEL DATE TO CONFIRM.
  • You must have your PASSPORTS AND VISAS for identification or you will not make the trip.
 
EVERYONE
  • All students take vans to Tropicana Inn & Suites at Disneyland main gate. 
  • Check into rooms.
  • Disneyland– all meet for group photo and get your multi-day hopper pass. Disneyland open until 11:00 PM

  • Because Disneyland has extended hours tonight we will not have the Pool Party at the hotel however we will have snack for you when you come back!

 Friday 
  • Vans to Knott’s Berry Farm Theme Park. Return to hotel at 5 PM.
  • Nighttime at Disney California Adventures open until 9 PM. Disneyland open until 12 AM. Downtown Disney hours vary by store. Parade, Fireworks!
 Saturday 
  • Vans from Hotel to Universal Studios. All day at Universal Studios. Return to hotel.
  • Nighttime at Disney California Adventures open until 9 PM. Disneyland open until 12 AM. Downtown Disney hours vary by store. Parade, Fireworks!
 Sunday
  • Visit the Hollywood sign, Grauman's Chinese Theater, Griffith Observatory, Tour of Hollywood, Walk of Stars, Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive. 
  • Lunch at Pink’s Hot Dogs.
  • Stop for dinner and evening activity at Outlet Mall.
  • Return to hotel and possible shopping at Downtown Disney. No Disneyland tonight. Downtown Disney hours vary by store.
  • Pack for return home.
Monday
  • Hotel check out.
  • Huntington Beach and Surfing.
  • Vans to Airport. Leave SNA  on Alaska Airlines # 231 at 5:25 pm
  • Arrival time in Seattle: 8:09 pm. All students will meet Shuttle at SEATAC. For transport to Tacoma.
KITSAP PENINSULA AND SOUTH SOUND STUDENTS
  • On to home by Rotary car pool.
CANADIAN AND OLYMPIC PENINSULA STUDENTS
  • Rotary home hosted in Tacoma for travel on Tuesday.

Tuesday

  • Home hosted students dropped off at Tacoma Office Depot Parking Lot at 3320 South 23rd Street
     at 8:00 AM to meet chaperones.
  • Canadian and Port Angeles students travel to Port Angeles for the 2:00 PM Coho ferry to Victoria
    and pick up. 
  • Port Townsend Students driven home.
  • Canadian drivers meet COHO in Victoria at 3:30 PM
  • All students at home with families.

Cost?

$1550.00 U.S Dollars
A deposit of $775 will be charged to your credit card as soon as you are registered. If you register prior to July 1, your card will not be charged until July 1, 2017. This includes all air transportation round trip from Seattle, ground transportation to and from hotel, Hollywood, Los Angeles and Beach, hotel accommodations at Tropicana Inn and Suites (4 students per room), daily breakfast, three day pass to Disneyland/ California Adventure. Transportation and admissions to Universal Studios and Knott’s Berry Farm Theme Parks. Thursday night swim party. Lunch at Pink’s Hot Dogs, Lunch at Universal Studios. Surfing lessons at Huntington Beach. The balance will be charged to your credit card the week of October 1st, 2017.

Not Included

Individual expenses for food (other than previous reference), luggage check fees and souvenirs. Students should bring additional $200 for food and souvenirs during the trip.

Registration closes September 14, 2017. First Come - First Serve. Cancellation fees will apply after September 15th!
